Ya know, it has been a while since I got on here and posted anything but today seemed like a good day to do a few things.
Last night I was having some trouble getting online with my laptop after I restarted it since I had done a couple of software updates, I run Ubuntu 16 on my laptop and for the most parts it has been going like gangbusters but my network configs got all fouled and I was at a bit of a loss but after doing a bit of googling I came across this and in short order my laptop was back to getting online.
Here is what I need to remember the next time my laptop pulls this crap.
Run this in the terminal (then reboot):
sudo touch /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/10-globally-managed-devices.conf
As for the next chapter in my life since moving out here to Vegas I am still trying to figure it all out as I am still trying to resolve a few obstacles.
